Born in the heart of the “City of Ceramics,” inspired by the ancient wisdom of Zen tea. I’m Sam, and I build more than sunrooms—I create spaces for you to breathe.
A Journey of Tea, Zen, and Light.
My name is Sam. I am not only the founder of Sunguard but also a devoted practitioner of Oriental tea arts. From the lingering “Rock Rhyme” of Phoenix Dancong to the mellow richness of Pu’er, and from fragrant flower teas to smooth black teas, my life has always revolved around the tea table.
I deeply believe in the ancient Chinese philosophy of “Unity of Heaven and Humanity”: true peace does not come from isolation, but from seamless integration with nature. I have been searching for a way to give modern city-dwellers a private sanctuary where they can listen to the rain, watch the clouds, and smell the incense amidst the concrete jungle.
We chose an all-glass structure to completely dissolve the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
